State Coordinator at Alternatives to Violence Project NH

From that time, he has supported the cause of nonviolent conflict resolution. As its State Coordinator, Charles Oropallo oversees the operations of the Alternatives to Violence Project (AVPNH) in New Hampshire. AVPNH organizes and facilitates experiential workshops in non-violent conflict resolution, mostly in the New Hampshire State Prison system. People often forget that violence includes things people say intending to hurt or destroy others which can often be more damaging than physical violence.

Founder at Access-80
November 1977 - Present | Peterborough, NHAccess-80 was started in November 1977 by Charles Oropallo as a hobbyist Bulletin Board System (BBS) site that ran on really old computer systems (Tandy's Radio Shack TRS-80 originally running on a Z80 microprocessor and ultimately on a Z80A and then Z80B microprocessor). Such systems were the forerunners to many of our newer systems. Charles Oropallo developed the software that ran on it that allowed communications between computer users and spawned the ideas for many of the current systems in use today.
